Robin Hood Lore
A faceless, nameless, chivalrous thief -- Robin Hood himself has said that he is but one of the many "somebodies" that correspond to Robin Hood. The foundation of the legend came from the chivalrous thief that lurked in the Sherwood forest who helped the people by robbing from the rich to give to the poor. The Green Archer that appears in the Fate/ series is a projection of that Robin Hood.
Fate/Extra (game/manga version)
Fate/Extra is Robin's first appearance in the series. He's summoned as the Servant to Dan Blackmore. Information about the plot of Fate/Extra is here. Robin is the second Servant to fight Hakuno Kishinami and they lose.
Fate/Extra Last Encore
And reappear in a forest, directly following their death. Last Encore plot is here. For hundreds of years, Dan and Robin fight and kill every Master they come across. Until Hakuno. Robin and Dan lose again.
Fate/Extra CCC
The next time Robin is summoned it's to fight for the super-advanced AI antagonist of CCC, BB. CCC plot: here. While he's still someone you have to fight and he often gets in the way of Hakuno's progress throughout the game, towards the end of his time on the Far Side he gives Hakuno a folder that has detailed information about BB and how to defeat her. Once corrupted by a deletion curse, he stands in front of Hakuno and their Servant to fight one last time. Hakuno wins again, Robin defeated once more.
Fate/Grand Order
All the information about Grand Order is here to read. The protag Master, Ritsuka Fujumaru, has the ability to summon A LOT of Servants. Robin is one of these Servants you can call upon from the beginning so he's experienced all the Singularities from Fuyuki, onward.
CRAU - Duplicity/Prismatica
Duplicity is a city that forces you to have sex lest you want to be brainwashed into becoming a sex-crazed thirst machine with the S.L.U.T program. It's where the lewd and kinky are a norm and where Robin has had all kinds of boundaries crossed much to his chagrin. It's made him slightly desensitized to physical contact versus if he was coming straight from his own canon. He had sex no less than three times a month. He's been drugged, kidnapped, had his dick grabbed, and some other shit too. The most important thing he gained from Duplicity is the people he met and ended up getting to know him. Even though he tried his best to keep it casual. A lot of those people he kept up relations within Prismatica.

PERSONALITY:
Robin is a character that likes people. He tends to make small talk with anyone and gravitates towards fun when amok. In a lively lineup, he will suddenly join up at one end. Though he doesn't allow people close. He sits at a precipice where he's not really a friend but he is more than a stranger. One of his listed hobbies is flirting. He will sometimes use flirting as a tactic. He's more sincere when it comes to honest to goodness praise. Like complimenting people when they deserve recognition. Most of the time, he's extremely frivolous and seems aloof to the world. One of his views on life is that one has to accept there are funny things that happen in life. Most notably he says this to his first Master, Dan Blackmore, who seems to be at odds with Robin at every turn.

Despite their disagreements, Robin never makes fun of Dan for the way he lives and never would make fun of someone for that. He will never ridicule someone else's hard work and wasted efforts.

The murders of many men sit under his belt, but Robin has good morals. Doing bad things for the sake of doing bad things is bad. Doing bad things for a reason? Most of what he did in life was never to help himself. It was done in an attempt to help others. The acts he carried out are still heinous ("My work is subversion, my hobby is espionage, and my purpose is a back-alley business of exterminating statesmen") but he's a character that steps in when he needs to. Not once did he excuse himself for those acts, either. Robin has an overwhelming and uncontrollable obligation to do the right thing when push comes to shove. Usually in a roundabout way. In his most recent Singularity, Robin doesn't join up with one winning side over the other. Ultimately, when Ritsuka shows up and there is a group that is fighting for the right reasons he decides to help out.

"It is what it is" -- a motto that Robin uses to approach most things and a childish view that sulks at the world. Robin is a realist, if not a cynic. One that's seen the world for all its nastiness. He lived in a time where the poor got poorer and the rich got richer. Naturally, all this makes him a bit dubious of other's intentions. He doesn't trust easily. This cynicism has made him sharp-tongued. There isn't much he won't call out when it warrants a response, either because it's incredibly stupid or incredibly obvious. He is a rebellious fellow that behaves with a lack of sincerity.

He is lazy but hard-working; He'll gripe about something he doesn't want to do but try his best at it anyway. Argumentative but easy-going. For someone who wanted to cast away his identity as a human, this hypocrisy makes him very human. Robin's Bond Quest in Fate/Grand Order has him protecting a peaceful village from bandits with traps. He only enjoys the peacefulness of the village, presumably for his own sake. However, right after saying this, Robin spends all of his time in the woods that skirt said village. Words and actions hardly ever coincide. Actions speaking louder than words is the best way to tackle his type of dishonesty.

Likely the most important but incredibly concealed part of Robin's motivations and thought processes is how much guilt he carries. A trait that Robin hides well within his regular disposition. To be blunt, all his guilt has culminated in self-loathing. He hates the way he has lived and he hates the vileness of his own fighting style and way of life. It's what he knows, it's what works for him, and it's how he's useful in battle for his Masters. His tricks and traps are the only things he's good at, in his opinion. Any deeds he carried out throughout his life he never saw as good. Guilt is why he doesn't get close to others, it's why he thinks his sense of virtue is naive, and it's why he thinks so badly of himself. This handicap is hidden well behind the arms-length distance he keeps everyone at and in taking life day by day, but it rules over him in the smallest and biggest ways.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Agility. Servants are tools for war -- weapons. They're stronger, more resilient, and more athletic than mortal humans. Even Robin Hood who, admittedly, is far more plain than a lot of the other Heroic Spirits can do things normal humans can't do when it comes to physical ability.
Archery skill. He's the Heroic Spirit Robin Hood and Archer class. He's very good with any type of bow.
Yew Bow. A crossbow on his arm. The Yew Bow has the power to instantly amplify or discharge the impurities (poisons and diseases) stockpiled in a target's body. If the target is carrying any poison, there is an effect that causes said poison to explode as if gunpowder. It's a bow manufactured from yew wood found in the forest he used as his base while alive. The yew is a sacred tree in Celtic and Norse cultures, and the act of producing a bow of yew holds the meaning of a ceremony to "become one with the forest".
Faceless King. An ability to become invisible and completely traceless -- as long as he makes no sound. He can only be found by those that are extremely observant. As long as he has the mana, he can use this power as long as he needs it. It's somewhat known as a cheat-tier item.
Guerrilla tactics. Someone who chooses any method to win. He makes ambushes, surprise attacks, and the use of poison arrow his specialty. The talent to chip off the opponent’s military strength during the preparation stages, prior to carrying out combat. He's an expert on traps. It's possible for him to incapacitate up to 60% of an enemy army before it has the chance to charge. In war, a loss of 60% can be described as a great devastation.
Botany. As a Heroic Spirit that makes assassinations and obstructions his specialty, he is also versed in natural poisons. Robin has been noted to use his poison to tamper with an army's drinking water to cut them down before a fight and it's the main skill on his setlist in Grand Order.
Survivability. He can cook. He likes to farm. If left to his own devices, he can figure himself out.

History:
Robin Hood Lore
A faceless, nameless, chivalrous thief -- Robin Hood himself has said that he is nothing but one of the many "somebodies" that correspond to Robin Hood. The foundation of the legend came from the chivalrous thief that lurked in the Sherwood forest who helped the people by robbing from the rich to give to the poor. The original Robin Hood is said to have opposed the tyrant John Lackland, but died of excessive bleeding due to a conspiracy from the abbess of the Kirklees Monastery. This Robin's story ends with him eventually dying from an assassination attempt. After firing his arrow into the sky with the words "let this arrow land where my grave shall be" he passed away all alone beneath the Yew Tree his bow was carved from.
The Green Archer that appears in the Fate/ series is a projection of that Robin Hood.
Fate/Extra (game/manga version)
Fate/Extra is Robin's first appearance in the series. He's summoned as the Servant to Dan Blackmore. Information about the plot of Fate/Extra is here. Basically, Fate/Extra (and most of its counterparts in the source material) is a tournament style war like Pokémon. But instead of cute monsters, characters from history with equally as flashy abilities are used to fight for a Holy Grail. These characters from history are called Servants, or Heroic Spirits, and they're summoned with magic by Masters. Masters are magus, people with the ability to use magic in a variety of different ways. The main goal of the war is to defeat (usually by killing) the other Masters and their Servants so a Holy Grail can be claimed -- an omnipotent wish-granting item. In Extra, Robin is the second Servant to fight the protagonist (Hakuno Kishinami). He first attempts to assassinate Hakuno with a poison arrow when Hakuno is least expecting it. Robin is successful in striking them with that poison arrow but before he can follow through with a kill he's stopped by Hakuno's Servant -- Nero Claudius. While Hakuno meets with Sakura, an AI nurse in the infirmary, Robin sneaks in to finish the job he started. For a second time, he's stopped but it's by his own Master, Dan. Who then tells him that he doesn't want Robin to fight with so little pride. Instead, he should fight head to head as a knight should. He makes Robin get rid of the poison in Hakuno's body with a Command Seal and the next time they fight it's on more even ground.

They lose though and Robin fades away...
Fate/Extra Last Encore
... To reappear in a forest with his Master, Dan, again. Last Encore plot is here. For thousands of years Dan and Robin fight together against hundreds of Masters that try to climb the tower and reach the Holy Grail. Dan's goal is to ascend to the next floor but because he died in Extra, that's pretty much impossible. For some reason. Still, they fight and beat every other Master that comes to their territory!!! Until another version of Hakuno comes along. Robin AGAIN ambushes Hakuno and his Servant, Nero, in the forest and nearly kills the two. He's stopped by another character, Rani. She's there to help Hakuno climb to the top and win. Only this time Dan IS UPSET that Robin didn't kill the Master when he had the chance. Thousands of years of fighting apparently totally changes how you are as a person. After Hakuno and Nero recuperate, get all the deets they need from Rani to best Robin and Dan, they're off to fight the two again. Nero splits off and goes one on one with Robin. She wins because when Robin poisons her with an arrow, she lets herself bleed out so there's no poison to make her explode when he tries to use his finisher move: Yew Bow. Nero lands a devastating blow on Robin when his guard is down but doesn't finish him off and takes off to help Hakuno and Rani upon realizing they're in trouble. Wow, lucky. Last we see Robin, he's sitting by a grave he made by the tree and he reiterates how bad he is in fair fights and fades away. Again.
Fate/Extra CCC
The next time Robin is summoned it's to fight for the AI and one of the antagonists of CCC, BB. CCC plot: here. Robin's role is a bit more comedic when he's BB's Servant but he's still the bad guy. Kind of. Probably because he thinks his new Master, BB, is a huge pain in the ass and implies he's just recycled goods. While he's still someone you have to fight and he often gets in the way of Hakuno's progress, following BB's orders and doing her bidding, and sort of managing everything in BB's place -- towards the end of his time on the Far Side he gives Hakuno a folder that has detailed information about BB and how to defeat her. Once corrupted by Meltilith's (another Servant of BB's and her Alter Ego she split off from herself, it's convoluted as fuck) curse, he stands in front of Hakuno and their Servant to fight one last time. Robin does so "to go out with a bang" instead of letting himself be taken over and controlled by Meltlilith. Hakuno wins again, but this time Robin tells Hakuno to do their best in the coming fights before he fades away, defeated once more.

Fate/Grand Order
Please don't make me type out all the Singularities. All the information about Grand Order is here to read. Long story short, there are Singularities. Those are also Grail Wars that are deviations of human history at some point in time. They vary from Singularity to Singularity. The protag Master in these, Ritsuka Fujumaru, has the ability to summon A LOT of Servants to ally with and help put history on its regular course -- which is the mission. Robin is one of these Servants you can call upon from the beginning so he's experienced all the Singularities from Fuyuki, onward. The most important Singularity in Robin's history is the Singularity I'm pulling him from: E Pluribus Unum. As a complete derail from his usual lot in life, Robin is fighting with the good guys and works with everyone to defeat the Celts (the bad guys) and their leaders. They're two Servants, Medb and a Cu Chulainn. Anyway, Robin is part of the resistance and heads to the city to assassinate Medb with some other Servants. But they're found out, thwarted, and he's the only one to escape from that group to live to fight another day. Literally, the next day. They defeat everything they need to and get rid of the Singularity, causing everything to go back to normal in history at that point in time.

Personality:

+Benign: Although he has his prejudices against noblemen, Robin is a character that essentially likes people. He will sometimes use flirting as a tactic if he wants something and he thinks it will give him an edge. He's a bit more sincere when it comes to honest to goodness praise. He compliments people when they deserve the recognition. Most of the time, he's extremely frivolous and seems aloof to the world. [No booze. What kind of beach doesn't allow alcohol on the beach? He's pretty sure that thing called Spring Break was literally the equation of beach + booze = Spring Break. Maybe throw some music and dancing in there to spice it up.

Then again, Spring Break wasn't a gathering of "Heroic Spirits" from all walks of life and ages, looking to enjoy the second (or third, or fourth) chance at life.

Robin makes do with his marble soda he supposes, sipping on it and surveying all the fun everyone is having. From making sandcastles to playing in the waves or just lounging under the shade, chatting about nothing. He spots someone hanging out by themselves in said shade. He has another, unopened, bottle in his hand that he looks at and contemplates about.

... He is known for his ambush and guerrilla tactics.

The good way to greet them is with an ice cold bottle to the bare shoulder, right?
